But when we had called for a price... read more quote we were told a minimum of 4 ppl working the day of the move and we were never told of any sort of travel fee (and we moved locally about 15 min drive between the two houses), so I was shocked to find a travel fee (not cheap) and when it came to unload the truck we lost a person and one of the guys that stayed had a bad back and didn’t do anything. So they moved way slower from there and we ended up paying more than double what we expected and my husband ended up doing a lot of the lifting to help keep things going. We had decided to pay for help this move bc of me being 34 weeks pregnant at the time and thought it’d be worth it but honestly they sure made a pretty penny off of us that day and when I talked to others they thought it was way too expensive. Owner is very nice and professional but I was disappointed in the overall outcome.
